    Hubbell Lighting Fixtures

Despite of being known as the period of the Napoleonic Wars, the 1800's was an era where most of the luxuries of contemporary living originated. It was where the brilliant- minded people like Thomas Edison, Henry Ford and George Westinghouse rose to fame. The age was also eventful for a man named Harvey since it was the time where his business started to produce his personal signature line of Hubbell lighting fixtures.

All throughout the establishment's years of operation, Hubbell lighting fixtures have been managed from one generation to another. A family- owned corporation, the story is now listed in United States' history of entrepreneurship. It all begum when its founder, Harvey, went to New York to pursue further education. When he started to receive awards for the series of long patents he created, little did he know, it was already the advent of building a career which today, is acknowledged all over the globe.

Harvey's ideas for his Hubbell lighting fixtures were motivated when he worked together with people who generated printing machinery and marine engines. However, the fulfillment of his quest was his desire to make a contribution in improving the lifestyle of every individual. In order to make the dream happen, Harvey tendered his resignation letter whereby in 1887 he opened a facility in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

At this juncture, Hubbell lighting fixtures are now being produced in plants at different parts of the world. Headquarters are located in Puerto Rico, Mexico, Singapore and United Kingdom. Not only that, the company also has distributing partners in Taiwan, Middle East, Hong Kong, South Korea and Malaysia. Brands such as Anderson, Bryant, Chance, Fargo, Gleason, Hipotronics, Killark, Pulsecom, Unenco and Wiegmann, among the others, are only some of the subsidiaries.

Hubbell lighting fixtures extend to a wide range of platform. One of which is telecommunications where the company features applications that can be utilized in signals sent through data, power and voice. Dubbed as "Premise Wiring", the merchandise is a package that includes adapters, jacks, outlets, cables, panels, balun, plates, racks, enclosures and a whole lot more. The components are highly beneficial in certain functions such as processing and termination for local area networks (LAN).

As to what the company specializes in, its products for illumination can be both ideal for indoor and outdoor. The items are mostly for commercial spaces such as those in gasoline stations, shopping centers, parking lots and recreational fields, or just about any spot that can get so heavily populated that proper illumination would be required.
